Gnomecats thread of games

Anything related to nothing in particular

Re-playing God of War 2 on the PS2 (but stepping up the difficulty). Still the best game for that console probably. Anyone going to get GoW3?
Need to afford a PS3 first though (paying for an entire wedding this spring isn't making my PS3-plans move along any faster though).

You should get a ps3 and the gow collection! Not sure how they hold up on the ps2 but the remake on ps3 make the games look really awesome, probably better than alot of new ps3 games.

Pre-ordered gow3 of course! 8-)

Good luck with the wedding, suppose it's yours as I trust you not to be stupid enough to pay for someone elses! :D

Got my PS3 now and played through GoW3, didn't beat GoW2 really except for the graphics. Really fun game though (and I even managed to get 100% on the trophy collection).

Also, ordered and played through Uncharted 2 - Among Thieves, damn what a game. Best one I've played for a long long time. Took an hour or so to get me hooked, but after that I couldn't stop playing. Anyone know if the first one is as good as part two?

Anyway, I'm out of games to play atm and I'm wondering if you guys have any solid tips for me when it comes to nice games? My fingers are hungry for some grade A gaming. =)

Ps. Also got myself a big ass TV to go with the PS3 (46" Samsung 6-series). GoW looked amazing on it.

Tbh, it was my wife that insisted on getting the TV. I suggested a 40", but she just wouldn't settle for anything below a 46" (not that I'm complaining though). That's how you know you got yourself a kick-ass wife. =)

Just ordered inFamous, seems to have gotten good reviews. Anyone played it, and if so, is it any good?

If you want something to really fill out that 46" screen, I'd definetly recommend Red Dead Redemption. Best game I've played in years.
